More Ways to Create

FocusTrack: Explore ActiveTrack 4.0, Spotlight 2.0, and Point of Interest 3.0 for different framing and subject-following options.

MasterShots: Automatically capture a sequence of camera movements and create edited clips with music and effects.

Hyperlapse: Choose Free, Circle, Course Lock, or Waypoint modes to show movement over time.

Panorama: Capture 180°, wide-angle, vertical, and spherical panoramas.

Phone and voice control: Connect DJI Flip to DJI Fly over Wi-Fi for app-based operation. Voice commands support English and Mandarin, according to the app language. Mobile app control is limited to 30 m in height and 50 m in distance; its virtual controls are intended for fine positioning and return operations.

Audio for your videos: With a compatible phone connection, record audio through the phone workflow and use propeller-noise reduction. This does not mean that the aircraft has an onboard microphone for recording your voice.

Wireless file transfer: Transfer footage over Wi-Fi at up to 30 MB/s under suitable test conditions, then edit in DJI Fly. Actual transfer speed varies.

Important Performance and Safety Notes

Flight time: Up to 31 minutes is a controlled-test maximum, measured at a constant 21.6 km/h in windless-equivalent conditions. DJI's specifications further identify sea-level-equivalent conditions, Photo mode, braking enabled, and battery depletion to forced landing. Plan a safe return with battery reserve; wind, settings, usage, and firmware affect actual endurance.

Tracking and video: Subject Tracking supports up to 4K/30fps. It does not support 4K/48fps, 4K/50fps, or 4K/60fps; 4K/60fps HDR is unavailable with tracking enabled.

Braking limitations: Automatic braking is supported in Normal mode, Cine mode, and return-to-home. Intelligent functions, including Subject Tracking, do not support obstacle avoidance. DJI describes close-range deceleration and braking when an obstacle is detected within 1 m ahead; at following speeds of 3 m/s or above, stopping distance may be insufficient. Do not rely on braking to navigate around obstacles.

Palm takeoff: Confirm the subject first. Use calm conditions, hold the sides of the body from below, point the camera toward the subject, and leave the camera and takeoff path unobstructed. Keep fingers clear of the propellers and never grab the drone in flight.

Transmission range: Maximum communication distances are 13 km under FCC and 8 km under CE/SRRC/MIC in open, unobstructed conditions without interference. These are communication test figures, not recommended flight distances or safe out-and-back ranges. Follow local requirements and return-to-home prompts.

Weight and local requirements: Under 249 g refers to the standard aircraft configuration, including the battery, propellers, and microSD card. Actual weight varies. Low weight does not remove every registration, operating, or certification requirement; check the rules where you will fly.

Image modes: Vertical recording uses a sensor crop. The 2.4 μm 4-in-1 pixel specification uses Quad Bayer pixel combining and does not apply to 48MP photo mode.

App-dependent features: Some shooting modes, voice control, audio workflows, and wireless transfers require a compatible smartphone and DJI Fly. Voice control supports English and Mandarin only.

General: Performance figures are based on controlled testing and may vary with environment, use, and firmware. Product illustrations are for reference; use the selected bundle's contents table to confirm included accessories.
